Retired from active duty as a Chief Boatswains Mate (Surface Warfare/Navy Diver). Decorations include the Navy Achievement Medal (3 Gold Stars), Good, Conduct Medal (5 Bronze Stars), Humanitarian Service Medal, National Defense Medal, 5 Navy Recruiting Gold Wreaths, and various service and unit awards. Authorized to wear the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Navy Deep Sea Diver breast insignia. 12 years sea-duty on 6 surface combatants, and 2 successful tours as a Navy Recruiter.
